Region: California
Country: USA
Year: 2012

Winery Review:

-"A blend of Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petite Sirah. Without a doubt, very smooth and uniquely balanced. Not too dry but not too sweet. Has a foundation of raspberry and blackberry that lingers in the finish. A slight hint at vanilla and some spice when it touches your tongue."

-This wine was not as strong on the nose. I tasted hints of cherry and other deep red fruits. I thought the wine was well balanced between dry and sweet, although still not something I think I would drink frequently. I tried this wine on its own without food.

-"A classic blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Medium-bodied and very approachable with soft tannins. Fruit-forward flavors of plum, cherry and blackberry are accented by notes of spice with more juicy berries on the finish."

-This wine had a very deep, bold scent. There were hints of blackberry and a very, very defined cherry taste with a light kick at the end. I am usually not a fan of dark red wines, but I thoroughly enjoyed this one. I tried this wine on its own without food.

-This wine was less strong on the nose. There were subtle hints of citrus. To the taste, this wine was a straight grape flavor; pretty standard white wine. I had a hard time putting my tastebuds to anything specific. I tried this wine on its own without food.

-This wine was strong on the nose (I was pretty thankful for this, as it cleared my sinuses real quick). I caught hints of lemon and citrus, maybe grapefruit. There was also some spice to this wine and definitely a kick at the end. I tried this wine on its own without food. It was a little too bitter for my taste, but overall not bad.
